Expansive and breathtaking views, sparkling clear weather, world-class fly fishing and ideal camping make the Henry’s Fork of Idaho’s Snake River one of America’s truly magnificent destinations.

Also known as the North Fork of the Snake River, Henry’s Fork runs more than 125 miles through Island Park and other small communities throughout Idaho, offering rustic riverfront lodging and outstanding outdoor activities.

In Eagle, Boise Hunter Homes’ Henry’s Fork Subdivision emulates the feel and beauty of the southeastern Idaho landmark.

“Henry’s Fork, Boise Hunter Homes’ newest subdivision, is a luxury community with breathtaking mountain views and open spaces reminiscent of Idaho’s secluded backwoods areas,” said Jim Hunter, owner of Boise Hunter Homes.

While you won’t be fly-fishing at the northeast Eagle development, its design and layout “aims to share the quality of its namesake, bringing to the Treasure Valley a new theme referred to as ‘rustic luxury,'” Hunter said, by combining high-end finishes and amenities with more rough-hewn, naturally beautiful details.

“There will be walking paths, full landscaping in keeping with the community’s rustic theme, a large, centrally-located pool with changing facilities and more,” said Hunter. “The aesthetic of the development will be easily recognizable, thanks in part to elements like large, hand-hewn wooden beams mixed with specially-crafted metal details, and woodsy foliage such as pines and evergreens.” The entrance is framed by large timbers hewn out of the oldest timber mill in Northern Idaho.

“The subdivision is very open,” said Devri Roubidoux, marketing coordinator for Boise Hunter Homes. “Views toward Bogus Basin won’t be blocked by having “house upon house.””

Henry’s Fork subdivision is comprised of high-end single-family homes on lots ranging from one-third of an acre to 2 acres. Amenities for each home vary, since each of the designs is custom to the owner’s specifications. Standard Boise Hunter Homes amenities include a spacious state-of-the-art kitchen complete with stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops, thoughtfully-designed floor plans and impressive master suites with walk-in showers, closets and oversized tubs, said Roubidoux.

Hunter said the development is being built in stages with eventual build out in 3-4 years. Currently, Phase 1 of four phases is under construction, with Phase 2 anticipated to start in the fall of 2013. Boise Hunter Homes anticipates the pool and changing facilities to be completed by the spring of 2014.

Each phase of development features a different number of homes. Phase 1 has a total of 21 lots, six of which are buildable and for sale. Phase 2 will have about 30 lots available. Two more phases should be completed within the next couple of years, bringing the total property size to 112 lots. Both homes and lots will be available. Prices for Boise Hunter Homes placed on these lots range from the low $400s – low $600s.

Located on 95 acres, Henry’s Fork is located in northeast Eagle, just past Eagle High School near the intersection of Park Lane and Floating Feather. Eagle High School is known as one of the top schools in the nation with four graduates admitted to the Unites States Military Academies last year, along with other National Merit Scholars.

“One of the most incredible selling points of this subdivision is its simultaneous proximity and privacy,” said Hunter. “Though Henry’s Fork is conveniently located mere minutes from schools, shopping, entertainment options and outdoor activities, it feels miles away as soon as you arrive. A prime location, idyllic setting and stunning custom-designed Boise Hunter homes combine to create a community that residents won’t want to leave.”

The custom home building company, headquartered in Eagle is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Jim and Jan Hunter. Under their leadership, Boise Hunter Homes was named the Top Residential Home Builder of 2012 and currently serving as the main builder of seven communities throughout Ada County. Boise Hunter Homes has also earned a 2013 Energy Star Leadership in Housing Award. This award recognizes an organization’s work in promoting energy efficient construction and helping to protect the environment through its partnership with Energy.

“Though Boise Hunter Homes does have several other higher-end communities, with large homes situated on spacious lots, Henry’s Fork is unique, in part to its ideal combination of convenient location, rustic luxury theme, spacious homes and mountain views,” Hunter said. “Each subdivision is carefully planned and meticulously thought-out – Henry’s Fork is no different.”
