Eric Church – HOLDING MY OWN TOUR 2017 @ Taco Bell Arena
Mar 24 @ 8:00 pm

eric-church_0ERIC CHURCH BRINGS 2017 HOLDIN’ MY OWN TOUR TO BOISE, ID!
Tickets on-sale Friday, Sept 23, 2016 at 10am local time for Eric Church at Taco Bell Arena in Boise, ID on March 24, 2017!

Boise, Id. (Wed, Sept 14, 2016) – EMI Nashville recording artist Eric Church will bring the “Holdin’ My Own Tour” to Taco Bell Arena in Boise, ID on March 24, 2017.  Tickets go on-sale Friday, Sept 23 at 10am at the Taco Bell Arena Box Office, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at 208.426.1766 or TM Mobile App.

For the first time ever, there will be no support act on this tour. Eric Church and the ECB will play two full sets with an intermission in between. In an effort to ensure his core fans get great tickets at face value, Church is revamping the pre-sale and on-sale process to eliminate scalpers from the equation.

“In this era where growing inequality seems to be the norm, we wanted to do everything within our power to put the advantage back in the hands of true fans rather than those that take advantage of the system, and by extension our people,” said John Peets, Church’s manager. “It was important to us to invest time into evaluating and redesigning the ticket buying process and build the technology to level the playing field.”

Church has secured a larger allotment of fan club tickets than in the past so Church Choir members will have much better success buying tickets in the pre-sale.  The Church Choir pre-sale will be the ONLY pre-sale. There will be no venue, credit card or radio pre-sales. Church and his team developed a new fan club pre-sale system that allows them to remove scalpers from the pre-sale process before it even happens. Scalpers that are found to be gaming the system and posing as real fans won’t receive the buy link at all.

As on past tours, Church will continue to cancel any and all orders found to be made by scalpers.  New for the Holdin’ My Own Tour, Church commissioned a proprietary technology that scrubs ticket purchases using up to 10 different data points and automatically flags orders made by scalpers.  Orders may be cancelled at any time and without warning.  Church cautions fans to stay away from the secondary market because it’s likely that tickets found there will be invalid by the time the show happens.

Finally, delivery of all ticket orders will be delayed until the days leading up to each show.  Church hopes that this will make it impossible for scalpers to complete their transactions.

By doing this – investing time and energy to create a more efficient and balanced model – the Church team is not only communicating directly to the fans the best source for face value tickets, but also building a model that protects fans and can be adopted by the industry as a whole.

“The way this album came together mandated we release it as a surprise, straight to our fans, as it was important for me to deliver the music the same way the creativity hit me—directly and swiftly. What I didn’t anticipate is that it left me scratching my head a little as this year was supposed to be spent writing.”  Church continues, “What this year’s open schedule did afford us was time to think through the way the fans experience our music live, and it was important to us that we find a way to stick to these same principles when it came to approaching our shows, down to the way they go on sale.”

Church’s 2014-2015’s The Outsiders World Tour topped Billboard‘s Hot Tours consistently after Church set new attendance records in five markets including Chicago’s Allstate Arena on March 20 with 18,626 present. Church also shattered Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena attendance on January 10 with an unprecedented 18,411 fans assembled, surpassing The Blue Collar Comedy Tour’s record set on Feb. 2006. On April 7, 2015 he also broke the attendance record at Grand Forks, N.D.’s Ralph Engelstad Arena, which was previously set by Sir Elton John’s 2012 show. The Outsiders World Tour saw Church performing to over 800,000 fans in more than 65 cities with nearly 20 stops from September 2014 through September of ‘15 and was named one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s Must-See Tours.

METHYL ETHEL @ Neurolux
Apr 7 @ 8:00 pm

with guests

methylethyl

Methyl Ethel is the uninhibited alt-pop project from Perth musician Jake Webb. The band started in 2013, as an outlet for the reverb soaked home recordings Webb was working on whilst developing his ambient and textural guitar playing in a variety of local outfits. Methyl Ethel has since blossomed into one of the most critically revered and publicly embraced acts coming out of Western Australia in some time.

Built from the ground up in various bedrooms, friends’ studios and quiet caverns over 2013, the exceptional EP diptych Guts and Teeth, which explore themes of anxiety, disillusionment and stasis, were released in quick succession. These intricate tapestries of melody, dripping with lush eccentricity, ascended through the ether and onto the airwaves, with Indie Shuffle, Happy, triple j, FBi Radio, 3RRR and RTRFM amongst others all taking note.

So far, 2015 has seen the band hone their sound, on debut LP Oh Inhuman Spectacle and its accompanying singles Twilight Driving and Rogues (awarded 2015 WAM Pop Song of the Year). Recorded in the same manner as its predecessors, Oh Inhuman Spectacle masterfully blends pop and esotericism to create an undeniable piece of work, which has landed at the top of many mid-year album lists and been championed by supporters new and old.

After a year of relentless touring, sharing stages with the likes of San Cisco, Holy Holy, Sunbeam Sound Machine and Courtney Barnett, Methyl Ethel are now a headliner in their own right. With their hometown album launch hitting capacity in a matter of minutes, and their Melbourne date selling out weeks in advance, the excitement surrounding the act and their breathtaking live show is palpable. October will see the band take a break from working on the follow up to Oh Human Spectacle to head stateside for CMJ, with a busy Australian summer to follow.

Bastille Performs On “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” October 12

New Album Wild World Featuring Hit Single “Good Grief” Out Now

Bastille will kick off their “Wild, Wild World Tour” on March 24, 2017 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON. The extensive run will take the GRAMMY®-nominated U.K. band to arenas and theatres across the U.S. and Canada, including a March 30 show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. View the tour trailer HERE.

A limited number of presale tickets will be available to members of Bastille’s mailing list (available here:http://smarturl.it/2017TourList) starting on Tuesday, October 4, at 10 AM local time. Citi is the official credit card of the “Wild, Wild World Tour.” Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, October 4, at 12 PM local time through Citi’s Private Pass Program. For complete presale details visit www.citiprivatepass.com. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, October 7, at 10 AM local time. See below for itinerary and specific on sale dates and times.

Bastille will perform on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Wednesday, October 12. Last week, the band launched “The Born To Be Wild World North American Mini Tour” tour. The short run, which sold out in minutes, includes headline shows at intimate venues such as the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY (October 3), New York City’s Bowery Ballroom (October 4) and the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA (October 9 and 10). Bastille will also headline the fourth annual, sold-out Jeep on the Rocks Concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on October 7.

The band is touring in support of its sophomore album, Wild World (Virgin Records), which debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 and spent two weeks at No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart. Available HERE, Wild World is the follow-up to 2013’s Bad Blood, which also debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart. Bad Blood has sold more than four million albums worldwide alongside 11 million singles.

“Good Grief,” the first single from Wild World, has more than 39 million streams globally on Spotify to date, including seven million in the U.S. alone. In the U.K., the track reached No. 1 on Apple Music’s Hot Tracks chart and the Shazam chart. Views for the official “Good Grief” video, which can be seen HERE, now exceed six million.

Rolling Stone hailed Bastille as “Brit pop’s new crown princes” and noted, “‘Wild World’ has stadium ambitions.” Entertainment Weekly observed, “The UK foursome expanded their influences with dizzying effects…EDM-style builds and drops propel enormous hooks, while handclap rhythms and drum machines carry sunny sing-alongs.” Q Magazineawarded it four stars and noted, “[Bastille’s] timely second album hits the right spot.” In another four-star review, DIY Magazine observed, “Opener ‘Good Grief’ sets the tone brilliantly, its pomp and grandeur juxtaposed perfectly with Dan Smith’s dark-tinged tale of coping with life after death.”

Dan Smith started Bastille alone in his bedroom five years ago, releasing 300 copies of debut single “Flaws/Icarus.” Joined by Chris Wood (drums), Will Farquarson (guitar) and Kyle Simmons (keyboards), the band line-up was complete. Bastille’s debut album, Bad Blood, contained the 5x Platinum single “Pompeii” and the Gold-certified tracks “Bad Blood” and “Flaws.” “Pompeii” topped Billboard’s Alternative Songs, Hot Rock Songs, Adult Alternative Songs and Dance Club Songs charts.

NASHVILLE (October 4, 2016) – This evening, during a surprise performance at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill announced “Soul2Soul The World Tour 2017” kicking off in New Orleans on April 7, 2017. The 65-city tour celebrates the 10thanniversary of the record-breaking “Soul2Soul II” tour, the highest-grossing country music tour of all time, and the first time Faith Hill has toured since 2007.

Ticket pre-sales begin Friday, Oct. 21st, venue presale is Oct. 26-27th, and tickets for the general public go on sale Friday, Oct. 28th at ticketmaster.com.

“We have the best fans in the world, who have been with us through our entire journey and we are so excited to celebrate with them by going back on the road and showcasing an exciting new show,” said Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

McGraw and Hill have been dominating the music charts since the early ‘90s. They began touring together in 2000 in their record-breaking “Soul2Soul” tour, becoming that year’s top grossing and most successful U.S. tour. Their success continued in 2006-2007 when “Soul2Soul II” returned to the road, which was the most attended tour of the year in any musical genre and remains the highest grossing multi-year North American tour in country music history.

McGraw has sold more than 50 million records worldwide and dominated the charts with 41 #1 singles.  He’s won three Grammy Awards, 16 Academy of Country Music Awards, 14 Country Music Association Awards, 10 American Music Awards, three People’s Choice Awards and numerous other honors. His iconic career achievements include being named the BDS Radio’s Most Played Artist of the Decade for all music genres, having the Most Played Song of the Decade for all music genres with “Something Like That,” and being the only artist to score two sets of three simultaneous top 20 Billboard Country Airplay hits. He is the most played country artist since his debut in 1992, with two singles spending over 10 weeks at #1 (“Live Like You Were Dying” and “Over and Over”). His recent multi-chart number 1 single “Humble and Kind,” off his Damn Country Music album is his 59th release to hit top 10 or better. His critically-acclaimed acting skills were highlighted in the award-winning movies “Friday Night Lights” and “The Blind Side,” and he will be appearing in the movie “The Shack” next year.

Hill is one of the top-selling and most-awarded female artists of all time. In addition to multiple nominations and five Grammy Awards, she has won an impressive 12 ACM Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards, four People’s Choice Awards and three CMA Awards. She has consistently broken chart records with 14 #1 singles and multiple albums topping both the Billboard Top 100 and Country charts.  She has six certified multi-platinum studio albums and has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.
